The pattern size for most kits is "LETTER",
but newer patterns use "LEGAL" sized paper. Check the page scaleing when printing.
If the page is being scalled down then switch to "LEGAL" sized paper.
3. Cutting out the Pattern
Cut the lines around the parts. Think of the extra lines as guides to help align the
parts later.
4. Tracing the Pattern
Place the peices on fabric and leave at least 1-1.5 inches between each part.
Trace the outside of each part and mark the extra lines. around the edges.
If numbers exist on the peices then mark them on the correct parts.
Mirroring the Peices
Each pattern only contains enough peices to make 1/2 of a toy. To make the other half
just flip the peices over. Tip
Mark a M(irror) or N(ormal) on the peices to tell them apart.
Seams
Around each peice trace a line 0.25 inches from the edges.
5. Cutting out the Peices
Cut out the peices on the "Seam" line.
Tip : Make two piles. One for normal peices and the other for mirrored peices.
6. Sewing
This part can be hard if it's your first time, but you'll get used to it. Just find two edges with the same number and sew them together.
7. Almost Done
You should get here once there is only one edge left to sew. Now just flip the object inside out and stuff it. Then hand stitch the last edge closed.
